BBH AmeriCorps Legacy Corps Member Application
Big Bend Hospice AmeriCorps Legacy Corps Member Application
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with our organization and the Big Bend Hospice AmeriCorps Legacy Corps program. Due to the nature of our work, Volunteers are exposed to sensitive information and situations. This is why we invest time in screening, providing an extensive pre-service training, and offering ongoing training to all BBH Volunteers including the AmeriCorps Members. To be eligible to volunteer, you must be 18 years of age or older, commit to serving an average of 10-12 hours a week for the full term of service, have reliable transportation, and provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. The list of additional documents needed per AmeriCorps requirement is provided on our website http://bigbendhospice.org/americorps – please submit them via secure online folder (Dropbox, etc) or provide them in person. Please reach out to Taylor Casper at 850-671-6037 or tmcasper@bigbendhospice.org for any questions.
