Big Bend Hospice (BBH) and Seven Oaks Health (SOH) are pleased to announce that Jared Hanson is joining our Executive Leadership Team as Chief Financial Officer. Jared comes to BBH from Empath Health, where he currently serves as Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations. In this role, he leads revenue cycle operations, enterprise managed care, and credentialing. He also oversees process improvement efforts across the organization and partners with service line leaders to drive growth and operational excellence.

Before his tenure at Empath, Jared spent nearly a decade at Gentiva/Kindred/CenterWell (a division of Humana) in various finance and operations roles. He is driven by Empath’s mission and excited by the opportunity to support a respected community-based organization like Big Bend Hospice through financial and strategic leadership.
Jared holds a Bachelor of Arts in financial economics from the University of Maine and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. Outside of work, he enjoys travel, concerts, and exploring the outdoors.
