Admissions Specialist, RN – FT
Supervisor: K. Fenior
The Hospice RN (Registered Nurse) for Admissions performs pre-admission evaluations to determine appropriateness for hospice services. Initiates the admission process by educating and informing patients and families of hospice and its services. Must have an active Florida RN License, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required. This position will work full-time hours which may include weekends and/or holidays.
Clinical Educator, RN – FT
Supervisor: S. Prescott
The RN clinical educator works collaboratively with individuals and groups, acting as a resource and utilizing creative teaching methods, to meet the educational needs of the organization. The role includes developing, evaluating, and timely updating of educational programs and plans to include: orientation, preceptorships, individual tutorials, skills practice sessions, certification review courses, the electronic medical record, and specific identified educational needs. The RN clinical educator cross-trains with other training and development staff, including the manager, to be able to perform all duties as needed. An active Florida RN license, valid Florida driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required. Hospice experience, clinical nurse educator certification, nursing educator masters, and/or CHPN preferred.
Hospice Physician – FT
Supervisor: N. Suchak
This is a full-time position for an MD or DO. Responsibilities include maintaining a regular schedule of medical participation for the BBH Service area and sharing call schedules with other medical providers to provide 24-hour, 7-day/week coverage for BBH patients. Acts as a resource for BBH Medical Director and participates in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss diagnosis and medical management of the patient. Works cooperatively with care coordinators, healthcare professionals, and the hospice interdisciplinary team. Provides hospice education to others to increase knowledge about BBH services and referrals. Performs other duties as requested by the Medical Director and/or CEO. Stays abreast of all state and federal regulations/statutes and licensure requirements. Board eligibility or board certification in hospice and palliative care is preferred. Hospice and/or palliative care experience is preferred.
*RN – Hospice House – FT Nights
Supervisor: T. Dooley
This position will work primarily nights, (3) 12 hour shifts for the Hospice House including weekends and holidays. Must have current Florida RN License and a minimum of 3 years RN/LPN experience preferably in Home Health or Hospice.
RN On Call – FT
Supervisor: M. Ramos
These are full-time RN and LPN positions for the On-Call Team. Qualified applicants must have a current Florida RN or LPN license. Experience required includes a minimum of 1-year in-patient nursing experience and previous Hospice or Home Health experience. These positions will provide On-Call coverage for our 8-county service area for 7 consecutive days followed by 7 days off. The schedule for these positions is Thursday through Wednesday, with the hours of 5 pm to 8 am on weekdays and 24-hour coverage on weekends.
RN – Triage – 25 Hours Per Week
Supervisor: M. Ramos
This position will work in the Triage Department schedule includes weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Must have current Florida RN license. BSN preferred. Minimum of 3 years nursing experience preferably in Hospice or Home Health. In-patient nursing experience preferred.
Social Worker – FT – Days
Supervisor: K. Solberger
Full-time and on-call social work position. Must have a Master’s degree in Social Work, LCSW preferred. Two years of home health or hospice experience preferred. Responsibilities include active and cooperative engagement with members of the Interdisciplinary Team to facilitate optimal patient and family coordination of care. Provision of psychosocial assessments to support the expressed wishes of patients/families, and identify unanticipated needs to help patients/families make informed decisions. Empower patients and families through the provision of education related to end-of-life care, advanced directives, long-term care planning, safety, and financial benefits for which a patient or caregiver may be entitled.
Senior Human Resources Generalist – FT – Days
Supervisor: G. Leclair
This is a full-time position responsible for effectively administering employee benefits, plans, and policies. Position assists with employee relations and engagement, performance management, compensation development, and HR software systems. This position assists the Director of Business Administration and the HR Manager in the development and implementation of HR strategies, plans, policies, and programs. Masters Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Personnel Management, or Related Field. HR Certifications a plus.
