Today, on World Mental Health Day, we take a moment to reflect on the importance of mental well-being—especially in healthcare. At Big Bend Hospice, we recognize the emotional and physical demands placed on our clinical staff. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Code Lavender, a new program designed to provide immediate emotional support and resources for our team.

Introducing Code Lavender at Big Bend Hospice

Code Lavender offers our clinical staff a way to manage the intense emotions that come with caring for patients and their families. Whether it’s dealing with compassion fatigue, grief, or burnout, this program is here to help you find calm and support during challenging moments.

By offering quick interventions like music therapy, bereavement support, and spiritual care, Code Lavender creates a safe, compassionate space where you can pause, reflect, and recharge.

We believe that when we take care of our caregivers, we enhance our ability to provide the best possible care to our patients.

Thank you for the extraordinary work you do every day.
