Supporting someone you love is deeply meaningful, and tending to your own wellbeing is an essential part of that journey.

Big Bend Hospice’s caregiver wellness support focuses on helping caregivers prioritize their own wellbeing while caring for others. Through education, encouragement, and supportive strategies, we help caregivers restore balance, manage stress, and maintain their own health throughout the caregiving journey.

Caregiver Intensity Self-Assessment
The Caregiver Intensity Index was created by the ARCHANGELS to reflect an individual caregiver’s experience. This short online “quiz” or self-assessment allows caregivers to understand the intensity of their own caregiving role. The intensity is reflected by the colors Red, Yellow, and Green. Take the quiz here
