Join us for a one-day retreat for middle and high school students who have experienced the death of a loved one (this loss does not have to be recent). Activities will include movement, music, creative arts, and more. Trained facilitators will lead participants in activities as well as professional vendors from our community. We will be creating Holiday cards for Big Bend Hospice patients. Homemade cards help combat loneliness for patients and make a positive impact on their mental health. Seeing a handmade card lets them know people are thinking about them. While we make the cards for Big Bend Hospice patients, we’ll discuss the many ways BBH Volunteers help make a difference in the community. All supplies will be provided, as well as snacks and drinks.
