Big Bend Hospice’s Response to Governor DeSantis’s Executive Order

MEMORANDUM

On May 3, 2021, Governor Ron DeSantis issued Executive Order 21-102, Suspending All Remaining Local Government Mandates and restrictions based on the COVID-19 State of Emergency.

Due to the high level of patient-related vulnerability in those we serve, Big Bend Hospice, Inc. staff and volunteers will continue COVID19-related protocols of wearing masks, social distancing, and adhering to hand-hygiene practices until further notice. We will update staff on any changes that may be implemented.

During this time, Dozier House Visitors will be asked, but not required, to continue wearing masks, social distancing, and adhering to hand-hygiene practices. Patients and Visitors in the home setting may also be asked, but not required to adhere to the above guidelines.
