With an extensive background in healthcare compliance and a wealth of experience across various sectors of the healthcare industry, Nicole brings invaluable expertise to her new role. Nicole boasts over a decade of professional experience, having held key positions in prestigious healthcare organizations.
Most recently, she served as the Compliance Director for Post-Acute services at Sanford Health/Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society in Sioux Falls, SD. In this capacity, Nicole showcased exceptional leadership skills by overseeing multiple locations, including skilled nursing facilities, home health services, hospice care, and durable medical equipment. Her adeptness in cultivating an engaged workforce dedicated to upholding compliance standards, along with her strategic work plans and milestone-driven approach, significantly contributed to the success of the organization. Additionally, Nicole conducted comprehensive risk assessments and spearheaded transformative initiatives in alignment with regulatory requirements and business strategies.
Before her tenure as Compliance Director, Nicole served as a Hospice Manager, providing oversight to nationwide hospice agencies. In this role, she ensured federal and state regulatory compliance while driving strategic and operational initiatives forward.
Nicole’s commitment to professional development is evident through her educational achievements. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sioux Falls, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from National American University, and holds a Diploma in Accounting from Nettleton Jr. College. Furthermore, Nicole has obtained notable certifications, including CHC, COQS, and RAC, demonstrating her dedication to excellence in healthcare compliance.
