Big Bend Hospice Foundation: Tree of Remembrance

During the holiday season Big Bend Hospice Foundation invites you to join in our annual Tree of Remembrance event. This celebration not only offers a beautiful and symbolic way to honor those who have touched our lives but also provide crucial support for Big Bend Hospice patient care services.

Two Ways to Remember, One Purpose:
Honoring Love and Support

The Tree of Remembrance event presents two meaningful ways to donate:

  1. Place an ornament on one of our trees with a personalized note or
  2. Purchase a keepsake ornament

Let’s delve into the distinctions between these two touching gestures.

Placing an Ornament on the Tree

At various locations across the Big Bend area, businesses are hosting trees adorned with special ornaments, such as bows, bells, and angels. To participate, you can make a donation that allows you to have an ornament placed on a Tree of Remembrance of your choice with a personalized note that will be attached to your ornament. This donation directly supports the crucial patient care services provided by Big Bend Hospice.

You can find these Tree of Remembrance locations in Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, Franklin, and Wakulla Counties. By visiting these sites until December 23, you can dedicate an ornament in honor or in memory of a loved one.

Purchasing a Keepsake Ornament

For those who prefer to keep a lasting memory close to home, the Tree of Remembrance offers a second option – purchasing a 2023 Keepsake Ornament. These beautiful ornaments can be acquired, and a special message will be attached to a bow, which will then be placed on a Tree of Remembrance of your choice.

By choosing this option, you not only receive a tangible keepsake but also contribute to the mission of Big Bend Hospice. All proceeds from ornament sales go directly towards ensuring compassionate care for individuals in our community who need it the most.

A Cherished Holiday Tradition with Lasting Impact

The Tree of Remembrance event is more than just an opportunity to remember our loved ones during the holidays; it’s a way to create a memorial to the everlasting power of love. Whether you choose to place an ornament on a community tree or purchase a keepsake for your home, your participation ensures that the spirit of remembrance thrives, and the mission of Big Bend Hospice continues to make a difference in the lives of many.

To participate in this meaningful event, visit any of the designated Tree of Remembrance locations or donate online.
