Helping Those During Thanksgiving

Putting food on the table during the holidays can be a challenge, especially if you are facing a serious illness or are a caregiver taking care of a loved one. This year, Big Bend Hospice (BBH) provided 73 meals to families receiving hospice services throughout our 8-county service area. Thanks to community support through the BBH Foundation, the number of meals delivered this year was twice as many as last year.

“It was a team effort,” said Bill Wertman, BBH CEO.  “I am blessed to work with such a group of compassionate and dedicated colleagues who always go above and beyond for our patients and their families.”

BBH is a community-based hospice providing compassionate care to anyone facing the end of life. Our roots run deep in the counties we serve. We hope all our friends and associates across Big Bend have a blessed holiday season.
