Father’s Day Grief Workshop

Bartelt Administration Center 1723 Mahan Center Boulvard, Tallahassee, United StatesEvent: Father's Day Grief Workshop Date and Time: Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 6:00 pm Location: Big Bend Hospice Bartelt Center Conference Room 1723 Mahan Center Boulevard, Tallahassee, FL 32308 We invite you to join us for a special evening in which to remember and honor the men who have made a difference in our lives. Children’s grief support activities will be available in a separate room for ages 6+. Light refreshments will be served. Here are some of the benefits of attending this event: Connect with other community members grieving the loss of an important male figure in their lives Learn helpful grief coping tips through participatory and interactive activities Share memories of your loved one Find support and comfort during a difficult time Who should attend: Anyone who is grieving the loss of a father, grandfather, or other important male figure in their lives Anyone who is interested in learning more about grief and coping What to bring: Yourself A photo of your loved one (optional) Registration: This event is free and open to the public. As part of our Community Bereavement Care, Big Bend Hospice offers a monthly support group, at no cost, for children ages 6-12. The loss does not need to be recent for a child to benefit from participating. Event Details: Date: Fourth Tuesday of the Month Time: 5:30pm - 6:30pm Location: This group will meet in the Family Room at the Jean McCully Family House, located behind the Elaine C. Bartelt Administration Center This group provides a safe space for children to share their feelings, ask questions, and learn healthy ways to cope with grief.
