Trained grief counselors lead the group in a safe space where you can talk openly, learn healthy ways to cope with your grief, and connect with others. Here's what you can expect: A safe and welcoming space: Share your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Learn about grief: Understand what's normal and get tips for coping. Connect with others: Meet other survivors who get what you're going through. Get support from professionals: Trained grief counselors guide the group. 2024 Teen Woe Be Gone Retreat

Event: Teen Woe Be Gone Retreat Date and Time: This event has been cancelled Teen Woe-Be-Gone, scheduled for October 11, has been cancelled due to circumstances out of our control. We invite community teens to attend our Teen Night this evening at Big Bend Hospice and to check out upcoming holiday support sessions including the November Family Feast of Remembrance and December Hope for the Holidays. As part of our Community Bereavement Care, Big Bend Hospice offers a monthly support group, at no cost, for children ages 6-12. Big Bend Hospice Volunteer Training

Are you interested in becoming a Hospice Volunteer? No prior experience needed— just an open heart and a desire to help.   Volunteers provide companionship, emotional support, respite care for caregivers, assist with small tasks in the home, and more.  Event Details:  Date: Saturday, November 2nd Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm Prefer online? Virtual Support Session: Grief Tips for the Newly Bereaved

Experiencing the loss of a loved one can feel overwhelming and isolating. In this no-cost virtual presentation, we invite any adult seeking support to join us as we explore the basics of grief, share practical tips for coping, and provide resources to help navigate this challenging time. Led by Pam Mezzina, LCSW, this session is designed to offer a safe, compassionate space where you can better understand the grief process and learn tips for coping. Whether you're newly bereaved or support someone who is, we're here to provide guidance and encouragement. Participants are welcome to share questions and feedback in the chat throughout the session.
